Visited this little gem last night with a friend. I had been before about 4 years ago and it was superb then. Our meals were outstanding. I ordered a lamb jalfrezi, he had a chicken madras and we shared rice and a keema naan. The service was attentive without being hurried or intrusive. The quality of the food was utterly without fault on every level, which is rare, as quite often these days restaurants are skimping on the expensive ingredients, particularly quality lean lamb, which in my dish there was tons! We left full and delighted. 100% satisfied - I will be returning soon.
Arrived on a rainy Tuesday evening to be told they have a special offer of poppadoms, starter, main and side and an ice-cream or coffee for only 14.95 pp, what a bargain! If you think the portions were small think again! The food was quick, hot and fresh, the portions huge, so big we had to have a doggie bag. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough. What a lovely way to spend a rainy Tuesday evening, will definitely be back soon, very happy, thanks Tamarind!!!
Had a good meal here. Went Sunday evening expecting it to be dead but there were quite a few people there. The place is clean and tidy with good decor. Waiting staff were prompt and friendly. We ordered two vegetarian dishes which were fine. The minty creamy veggie one was a bit gooey but both were fine and we will be going again.
My family and I went for an evening meal there yesterday and my wife normally doesn't like Indian food. Long story short she enjoyed it so much she wants to go there again. The staff are fantastic they were very accommodating for my daughter who is 7 The staff were friendly attentive and the food was fantastic. I have been to meany Indian restaurants in the south Wales area and in my experience this is one of the best. We will definitely be going again.
Great restaurant. Plenty of options, look out for the Monday, Tuesday and Sunday specials to dine in. Staff are excellent and just a lovely evening here.
Can I start with saying how lovely the establishment looks.....nicely decorated, very clean & tidy. Came in last night for the 1st time in years for the sit-down special offer and I can say we were not disappointed!!! Lovely starter, beautiful main and a lovely pint of cobra... promptly served, good portions & great price...didn't make the ice-cream & coffee, too full,!! Cannot recommend the food & staff enough, will return soon....thanks!!
This place! What can I say other than absolute perfection. The food is always piping hot, it’s amazing tasting, the staff and manager are outstanding! Very polite, very professional, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, clean and tidy. Food delicious and amazing. I love going back here every time. Can’t wait to go again soon!
